About Us
Dedicated to Fairness and Accountability in Law. Project Fair & Balanced is a nonprofit, public interest legal blog site. Our mission is to end widespread abuses of government power and secure the constitutional rights that allow all Americans to pursue their dreams. And we intend to do it locally one person and one county at a time.
We started our humble beginning in December 01, 2023 in Hiram, Georgia.
Each case is crafted to set a precedent that will protect the rights of countless others like you and I. So we engage in legislative advocacy and grassroots activism, author original research, deploy award-winning communications, and operate a clinic for low-income entrepreneurs and a center of scholarship and debate on the proper role of the judiciary. Together, these activities are changing the law and the real-world experience of individuals across the country. Founded in December 01, 2023, Project Fair & Balanced is a consumer advocacy organization, focused on issues that impact your wallet and your quality of life. PFB is a non-profit, nonpartisan organization that uses education and advocacy to help give consumers a strong ally to level the playing field with powerful special interests in the state. We work every day to create a Georgia that is a model for consumer protection.
While we serve all Georgia consumers, we are particularly dedicated to ensuring that the most vulnerable of our population have been heard and have access to necessary resources, and are aware of their rights in the consumer marketplace. To fulfill our mission, PFB works closely with the public, coalition partners, legislators, regulators, and the media to serve as an advocate as well as a trusted resource for information and guidance.
As primarily a non profit organization, PFB does not engage in partisan political activity. No organizational resources are used in connection with political campaign activities ,or in support or opposition of any candidates for public office. Even though our Founder is a candidate for political office, We do not take any endorsement or support any candidate. Our work is unbiased and objective.
Project Fair & Balanced does not provide legal advice or representation. If you need legal advice or assistance, please contact a licensed attorney. PFB disclaims any connection with any law firm or attorney and disclaims any support of such collaboration. PFB believes in "PEOPLE FIRST" motto.

When it all started -Reality Check
From my own personal ecxperience I felt the need of a watch group that can focus on local county area and court system and get the issues that are im portant to public light.
I myself had to stay in Cobb County Detention Center for wrong address that caused an FTA and I was held in CCADC for more than 56 days without proper and timely representation by my lawyer(s). -Mohammad Khan(Chief Reporter)
Cobb County Detention Center: Sept.-Oct. 2023
My own Experience
It is possible to be arrested and potentially go to jail for a Failure to Appear (FTA) warrant, even if the notice to appear in court was sent to the wrong address. Arrest is Possible: Despite the error, you could still be arrested if law enforcement encounters you and discovers the warrant.
Wrong address-FTA
resulting in 58 days jail
Lack of Public Defender's oversee
An attorney's failure to appear for a scheduled court date without prior notice can have consequences, potentially including disciplinary proceedings. In Georgia, the Georgia Public Defender Council (GPDC) ensures public defenders work effectively and ethically according to the Georgia Public Defender Council. But obviously it is not being followed or not enough to oversee them.
